Chile Jazz Festival 2018
Festival Identity and Cultural Transmission
Invited to participate in the national competition for the visual identity of Chile Jazz Festival 2018, PixelArt’s proposal was selected as the official image of the event. Developed through a strictly pixel-based visual language, the project expanded beyond poster design into a complete communication system deployed across printed materials, merchandise, digital platforms and public-facing media.

Hommage à Fabio Rieti — Paris 2019
Exhibition Identity and Transgenerational Image Systems
Developed for the Paris exhibition Hommage à Fabio Rieti, this project brought together two generations of image construction through a visual dialogue between mosaic and pixel systems. Created as both exhibition identity and public intervention, the work revisited one of Fabio Rieti’s most iconic urban figures and translated it into a contemporary pixel language deployed across posters, mosaics and public space.

Lollapalooza Chile 2017
Cup Rocking Systems and Collective Representation
Commissioned for Lollapalooza Chile 2017, Igualdad transformed 7,000 individually painted plastic cups into a monumental portrait installed across a 22-meter metal structure. Developed through the artist’s Cup Rocking technique, the work explored how thousands of modular elements could be organized into a unified image addressing migration, diversity and cultural coexistence.

Kidzapalooza 2016
Pixel Architecture and Participatory Play
Commissioned for Kidzapalooza, the family-oriented area of Lollapalooza Chile, this installation transformed the pixel into a navigable spatial structure. Constructed from CNC-cut wooden modules and distributed throughout Parque O’Higgins, the project invited visitors to experience digital imagery as a physical environment designed for interaction, exploration and play.

The House of Mosaics 2025
Domestic Architecture and Art Historical Translation
Since 2020, The House of Mosaics has transformed a private residence into an evolving architectural archive of Chilean art history. Through a series of large-scale mosaic interventions integrated directly into the building’s exterior, the project translates canonical paintings into permanent public-facing image systems operating simultaneously as architecture, cultural memory and contemporary mosaic practice.

Saloon2 2026
Interior Image Systems and Spatial Identity
Developed for Saloon2, a cultural beauty salon located in Santiago’s Bellas Artes district, this site-specific mosaic intervention explored how image systems can become integrated into interior architecture. Conceived as a permanent spatial element rather than a decorative artwork, the project transformed the floor surface into an immersive visual field activated through movement and occupation.

NETWORKED IMAGERY
Blockchain systems, collectible archives and post-digital image circulation.
Developed between 2021 and 2022, these projects explored how pixel-based image systems could operate within decentralized digital environments. Working across handcrafted pixel construction, cultural appropriation, blockchain infrastructure and collectible media, the projects expanded PixelArt’s ongoing investigation into authorship, circulation and image persistence beyond physical space.

Chilean Wine Day
Cork Image Systems
Developed for Día del Vino 2018 at Parque O’Higgins in Santiago, this large-scale temporary installation transformed 13,448 recycled wine corks into a monumental image system constructed entirely from materials directly linked to Chile’s wine industry.
Conceived under accelerated production conditions, the project required the translation of a commissioned image into a modular structure assembled through thousands of individual cork units. Working with a limited timeframe and large quantities of recovered material delivered directly from wineries, the intervention explored how accumulation, repetition and material identity can generate complex visual systems at architectural scale.

Messages to the Sky
Collective Image Systems and Participatory Memory
Developed for the Day of All Saints, Messages to the Sky transformed personal remembrance into a collective image-making process. Participants were invited to write messages to loved ones on individual colored modules which were progressively integrated into a large numbered grid. As hundreds of contributions accumulated, a hidden image gradually emerged through collective participation.
