As part of his tribute series to musical heroes of the 1980s, the artist presents this portrait of Sting. The work is born from a foundational memory: the legendary 1982 performance of The Police at the Viña del Mar Festival, which marked the artist’s first real encounter with music.
Through a 60×60 cm grid, the piece translates the image of The Police’s frontman into the language of pixelated mosaic, linking the nostalgia of blockbuster movies and early video games with the persistence of glass tiles. Following the sale of the first piece, 4 additional units are available in this limited series of 5, each handcrafted to order to maintain the exclusivity of this pop icon collection.
