Part of the Digital Expressionism series, Introspection marks a moment when the artist’s attention shifts from cultural imagery toward the architecture of perception itself. Built from 3,600 hand-placed glass tesserae, the work explores the relationship between digital space, inner consciousness, and visual noise.

At the center of the composition, a geometric cube emerges from a fragmented field of pixelated interference. Rather than representing a physical object, the cube functions as a symbolic structure: a mental space suspended within the constant flow of information. The surrounding glitches evoke the instability of digital environments, while the internal white field suggests clarity, silence, and self-reflection.

Created during the development of the Digital Expressionism exhibition, the piece reflects the artist’s growing interest in transforming digital phenomena into physical systems. Here, the mosaic grid becomes both image and metaphor—a framework capable of preserving identity amid the turbulence of contemporary visual culture.
